On August 17, 2024, Sgt Joseph Feser tragically died in a motor vehicle accident only a day after returning from his deployment with the North Dakota National Guard.
He was a former employee of Valley Borders and a longtime friend and classmate of my son Trey Shereck. Joe was deeply connected to both the National Guard and Valley Borders, and it would mean so much to have you stand with us to honor his legacy.

This year’s “Curb-a-Thon” is not only a way to continue that mission, but also a tribute to Joe’s memory and the communities he loved and served.
WHAT IS CURB-A-THON?
We all have seen fundraisers that have you pledge a certain amount for a task that is to be done. We decided to put our own twist on this and do it with curbing.
Trey and I (Lonnie), are going to lay as many feet of curb in 60 minutes as we can. You will have options of what you want to pledge for each foot. The two of us will mix, extrude, trowel, and cut as much curb in that hour as we can. Just to give you an idea of what a pledge may be, we are hoping to lay 150-200 ft. If you pledge .50 cents a foot you will have an idea of what the total will be when we are done.
You will also have a choice to donate to our gofundme page if you don’t want to pledge.
All the money raised from this event will go to the North Dakota Emergency Relief fund to help those military families in need due to unexpected tragedies.
